observe the following basic safety
precautions to ensure protection against
electric shock, risk of injury and � re.
Read and follow these instructions before

Safe working
1 Keep your work area tidy and in order.
– Disorder in the work area can lead to
accidents.
2 Consider environmental in� uences
– Do not expose power tools to rain.
– Do not use power tools in a damp
or wet environment. Risk of electric
shock!
– Ensure that there is proper lighting in
the working area.
– Do not use the power tool in areas
where there is a risk of � re or
explosion.
3 Protect yourself against electric shock
– Avoid physical contact with grounded
parts (e.g. piping, radiators, electric
stoves, refrigerators).
4 Keep children away!
– Do not let other persons touch the
tool and/or the cable, keep them away
from your work area.
5 Store unused power tools safely
– Unused power tools should be stored
in a dry, elevated or locked location,
beyond the reach of children.
6 Do not overload your power tools
– They will work better and more safely
in the speci� ed performance range.
7 Wear appropriate clothing
– Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry,
they could be caught by moving parts.
– When working outdoors, rubber
gloves and non-slip footwear is
recommended.
– If you have long hair, wear a hair net.
8 Do not use the cable for purposes other
than for which it was intended
– To remove the plug from the power
outlet, do not pull the cable. Protect
the cable against heat, oil and sharp
edges.
9 Maintain your tools carefully
– Keep your compressor clean to work
well and safely.
– Follow the maintenance instructions.
– Check the power tool’s connection
cord regularly, and in the event of
damage, have it replaced by an
approved specialist technician.
– Check extension cords regularly and
replace them if damaged.
10 Remove the plug from the power outlet
– When the power tool is not in use,
before performing maintenance work
and when changing tools such as saw
blade, drill, milling cutter.
11 Avoid unintentional start-up
– Before connecting the plug to the
power outlet, make sure that the
switch is in the OFF position.
