Troubleshooting

Problem

Probable

Solution

Recording and/
or snapshot are of
poor quality.

Outer surface
of the clip or
the lens/
microphone
aperture is
obstructed or
dirty.

Verify that you are holding the
Pen correctly and that clothing
or position is not obstructing
the Pen's clip. In case of dirt,
clean the clip/ lens with a lens
cleaning cloth and always
store the NanoPen in its
original container.

Nothing happens
when I try to record
or take snapshots

NanoPen is
locked

Follow the unlocking
procedure described on
Page 15.

Nothing happens

Battery is
discharge

Charge the batteries
(NanoPen and the
