6. Changing Camera Settings
To change camera settings, the user must have Administrator privileges .
If the user has Supervisor or User privileges, the camera settings may
NOT be changed . To change camera settings, press the Menu button
while in Preview mode . Use the Left and Right buttons to navigate
and the OK button to select between the video settings, photo settings,
and system settings . The Left button navigates up, the Right button
navigates down, and the OK button is used to select the setting to be
changed . The Menu button acts as the “back” button and is used to
return to Preview mode .
Pressing the Photo , Video Record , or Audio Record button while
navigating through the settings will immediately begin that specific camera
function .
6.1 Video Record Settings
Video Mode:
Allows the user to change resolution, frame rate, and aspect
ratio . Higher settings provide a better picture but require more disk space .
Video Quality:
The higher the video quality, the greater the amount of disk
space used during recording .
Pre-Event Record:
When activated, buffers up to 42 seconds of video at
1080p which is added to the beginning of a video file when the Record
button is pressed .
