MOUNTING THE WINCH

The winch may be mounted in one of two ways, as a single unit using the

mounting plate to connect the fairlead to the unit or directly to the frame

or a platform without the mounting plate. The fairlead is connected to a

separate part of the vehicle such as a fender in the latter case.
