WARNING! Battery acid is corrosive. Avoid contact with skin or
eyes. If acid touches skin, flush it immediately and consult
a doctor.
6. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses during use.
7. Do not expose the charger to rain or snow.
8. Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons.
9. To reduce the risk of damage to the electric plug and cord,
pull by the plug rather than the cord when disconnecting
the charger.
10. Have a qualified service technician perform any maintenance
to the charger. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of
electric shock or fire.
CAUTION! To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger
from the outlet before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
Turning the controls off will not reduce the risk.
WARNING! Risk or explosive gases. Working in the vicinity of a
lead acid battery is dangerous. Batteries generate explosive gases
during normal battery operation. To reduce the risk of battery
explosion, follow these instructions and those published by the
battery manufacturer and the manufacturer of any equipment you
intend to use in the vicinity of the battery.

CONNECTION PRECAUTIONS
WARNING! Connect and disconnect the DC output clips only after
setting any control switches to the OFF position and removing
the AC power cord from the electric outlet. Never allow the clips
to touch each other.
1. When hooking up the charger, attach one clip to the battery
and the other to a point away from the battery (see the
section Charging A Battery Installed In A Vehicle). Do not
hook up the charger until reading the entire manual. To
