3. DEEP CYCLE: Deep cycle batteries are usually marked as
“deep cycle” or “marine”. Deep cycle batteries are usually
larger than the other types.
DISPLAY MODE SWITCH
Use this switch to set the function of the digital meter to one of
the following three:
1. BATTERY %: The digital meter displays an estimate of the
percent of charge of the battery connected to the charger
battery clamps.
2. VOLTAGE: The digital meter displays the voltage at the
charger battery clamps in DC volts.
3.
ALTERNATOR %:
The digital meter displays an estimate
of the output of the vehicle charging system connected
to the charger battery clamps as compared to a properly
functioning system.
CHARGE RATE SWITCH
Use this switch button to set the charge rate to one of
the following:
1. 12V – 2A / 24V – 5A CHARGE RATE: Charging small batteries
such as garden tractors, snow mobiles and motorcycles. The
2A / 5A rate is not intended to be used as a trickle charger
for larger batteries.

10A or 20A CHARGE RATE:
Charging automotive batteries,
marine batteries, and deep cycle batteries. Not intended for
industrial applications.
3.
INFINITE AMPERAGE CONTROL RATE:
The infinite
amperage control of 12V or 24V charging that allows a
selection of any rate up to 15A or 24A at 12V or 12A at 24V.
