OVERLOAD PROTECTION
Under extreme overload, the
current consumption may exceed
what is normally used. In this case,
overload protection prevents the
motor from burning out. The saw
has a reset button (A) that will
restart the motor after it shuts
off due to extreme overload.
See Figure 17. If the motor stops
during operation, turn the saw
OFF. Unplug the saw from its
power source and wait about three
minutes for the motor to cool
down. Push the reset button to
start the saw again.
GUIDE RULER
1. The guide ruler can be used
for precise straight cutting
by sliding along the work
piece, and is fixed at the
front of the base with a
wing nut.
2. The guide ruler (A) is used
on the right of the blade.
See Figure 18. Using the
guide provides accurate cuts
without the need to follow a
cutting line.
3. Locate the guide in the
mounting slots at the front
of the baseplate and tighten the wing screw to lock it at the desired
cut width.
