Rotate the handle so that it is perpendicular to the windshield vent (as shown in photo #2).

Then, push the handle outward to
open the vent. Reverse the
process to close and secure the
vents. The windshield vents
should always be in the closed
and latched position when you
are transporting the boat.

Windshield Wipers – Port and/or Starboard (Optional)
A “3 position switch” controls the optional port and starboard wipers on the 25 Walk. Depressing the
wiper switch on the console in the up or forward position activates the starboard wiper. Depressing the
switch to the down or aft position will activate both the port and starboard wipers. The center position on
the switch is the off position for both wipers. If at all possible you should never operate the wipers on a
dry windshield. This will dramatically reduce the life of your wiper blades.
Note: Depending on how your boat was ordered from the factory, you and/or your dealer
may have selected to install only the starboard wiper. In this instance, the operating
switch is a “2 position switch”.
Windows
Two (2) styles of windows have been installed in the cabin.
Cabin Hatch - A cabin hatch complete with screen is installed in
the ceiling of the main cabin. To open the window, remove the
screen, turn both levers forward and push the hatch open to the
desired position. To hold the hatch in place, tighten the black
plastic cylinders on both of the mounting arms. Then replace the
screen. DO NOT allow passengers to sit or stand on the hatch as
they could break the hatch. The hatch should be in the closed
and latched position when the vessel is underway.
There is a black plastic cylinder on each mounting arm.
Cabin Portholes - Two portholes are installed in the main cabin.
One is located on each side of the berth.
Cabin Door / Companionway Door
The acrylic cabin/companionway door assembly is equipped with a cabin door, cabin door hatch, locking
latch and a magnetic latch to hold the door in place when it is open.
To open the cabin door assembly:
Press the latch on the latch assembly downward toward the deck to release the latch.
