Fresh Water Tank

The 6-gallon capacity fresh water tank can be filled via the stainless steel fresh water tank fill, labeled
water, located next to the port side helm seat.  See the Fresh Water Tank Fill and/or the City Water Hook-
Up/Inlet sections below for filling procedures.

The fresh water tank and fresh
water pump can be accessed via
the round deck plate located next
to the port side helm seat.

Important:  Fill the tank with potable water only.  Refilling the tank often will help to keep it
a source of clean fresh drinking water.  Never fill the fresh water tank with anything other
than fresh water.

Fresh Water Tank Fill

This is a stainless steel fitting located next to the port side helm seat.  Twist the cap to open the fitting.
The cap is connected to the fitting by a chain or cable so that it will not become lost.  Use a garden hose
to fill the fresh water tank through this fitting.  Fill the tank with potable water only.

Fresh Water Pump

The fresh water pump is accessible via the round deck plate located next to the port side helm seat.
Locate the fresh water pump switch (labeled fresh water) on the switch panel and depress the switch to
the on position.  Next go into the cabin, press the button on the faucet/nozzle and verify that water is
coming out of the faucet/nozzle.

If the fresh water system is not in going to be in use, return to the switch panel and turn the fresh water
switch to the off position.

Note:  If you should hear a sucking sound, you may have a leak on the inlet side of the
fresh water tank.  The tank can be accessed via the round deck plate located next to the
port side helm seat.  There are 2 hoses connected to the front of the tank.  The larger
diameter hose is the water fill hose and the smaller diameter hose is the water vent hose.
Inspect the hoses for leaks and make certain that the hose connections are secure.

When you close all of the faucets, the pump will run briefly.  If the pump continues to run with all faucets
closed, check the system for leaks or have the pump tested.

Fresh Water Stations

The boat is equipped with one standard and one optional fresh water station.  The standard fresh water
station is located at the cabin sink.  The optional station is the fresh water cockpit shower at the transom.

Turn on the fresh water switch located on the switch panel to blow out any air that may be trapped in the
water lines.  When you turn on any of the faucets, you will hear the pump run.

Fresh Water Faucet in the Cabin
The fresh water faucet for the main cabin is located at the sink.  See the section titled Fresh Water Pump
for operating instructions before using this faucet.  Depress the lever on the base of the faucet/nozzle to
begin spraying.
