near the Upright (27).
Route the Main Wire (25) through the large slot
(D) in the underside of the Handlebar (4) and
through the large opening (E).
Tip: Avoid pinching the Main Wire (25). Have
the second person set the Handlebar (4) on the
Upright (27) and hold it in place.
Insert your finger into the access opening (F) in
the Handlebar (4), and then insert the Handlebar
Bracket (1) into the Handlebar. Use your finger
to prevent the Handlebar Bracket from sliding
downward, and align the hole in the Handlebar
Bracket with the hole (G) in the top of the
Upright (27).
Then, insert the Handlebar Knob (19) upward
into the Upright (27), and tighten the Handlebar
Knob into the Handlebar Bracket (1).

10. Untie and discard the wire tie on the Main
Wire (25).
While a second person holds the Console (7)
near the Handlebar (4), plug the Main Wire (25)
and the Pulse Wire (23) into the receptacles on
the Console.
The connectors on the Main Wire (25) and
the Pulse Wire (23) should slide easily into
the receptacles and snap into place. If a con-
nector does not slide easily into a receptacle,
turn the connector and try again. If you do not
connect the connectors properly, the console
may become damaged when you use the
exercise bike. Then, insert the excess wire into
the Handlebar (4).
