The motor protection filter should
be replaced every time a new
pack of dust bags is opened.
1. Pull the mains plug (13) out of
the socket.
2. Use the release handle (8) to
unlock the lid for the dust bag
compartment (7) and swing it
upwards to open.
3. Pull the dust bag out (32), as
described in section “Changing
the dust bag” on page EN-21.

4. Remove the motor protection
filter (36) .
5. Wash the motor protection fil-
ter (36) under running water.
Should the motor protection fil-
ter (36) be damaged or can no
longer be sufficiently cleaned,
it must be replaced with a new
one.
6. Let the motor protection fil-
ter (36)
dry completely
.
7. Insert the motor protection
filter back into the vacuum
cleaner in reverse order.
8. Insert the dust bag
(see “Changing the dust bag”
on page EN-21).
Combine changing or clean-
ing the motor protection fil-
ter when you change the dust
bag.
