Neither the appliance itself
nor the attachments, the
blender cup or the meas-
uring cup are dishwash-
er-safe.
■
Do not use any solvent, ir-
ritant or abrasive cleaning
products (e.g. oven or grill
spray) or cleaning uten-
sils (scouring pads, etc.) to
clean the appliance. They
can scratch the surface of
the appliance.
■
Thoroughly dry all parts af-
ter cleaning.
■
Use a slightly damp cloth
that has been well wrung
out to clean the hand-held
unit (1).
Then rub dry with another
cloth.

To remove stains from the
measuring cup and blend-
er cup caused by carotene
pigments (paprika, carrots,
tomatoes, curry, etc.), put
a few drops of sunfl ower
oil on a paper towel and
rub the cup with it; the oil
binds to the pigments and
removes them completely.
Then clean the cup in the
sink since it is not dishwash-
er-safe.

The blender staff (3) and
whisk (2) can be cleaned in
a sink with water and soft
brush.
