The appliance’s accessories
(blender staff, blender cup)
have sharp cutting blades.
Improper handling of these
accessories may lead to inju-

Always pull the mains plug
out of the socket if you are
not using the appliance,
attaching or removing at-
tachments, or positioning it
on or removing it from the
blender cup lid.

Exercise caution when in-
serting, removing, cleaning
the cutting blades or con-
necting them to the blend-
er!
■
Never touch moving parts!
Risk of short-circuit!

The blender can be oper-
ated in hand-held blend-
er mode for up to 1 min-
ute and in food processing
mode for up to 2 minutes.
Make sure to stop operation
for at least 2 minutes after
this in order for the motor
unit to cool down. The mo-
tor unit can overheat and
become damaged if this is
not observed.
General instructions
We recommend
– operating the On/Off switch (9)
in intervals at first in order to
stop the food being blended
from splashing over the edges;
– using the appliance on a lower
power setting at first and then
increasing the power after-
wards (see section "Adjusting
the power"on page EN-18).
