7.7 Perpendicular Inlets
In most installations, inlets to the chambers will be at the chamber row ends with a header system.
However, an inlet perpendicular to the system maybe desirable in some cases. If this is required, a
chamber can be removed from a row and replaced with a tee connected to the inlet pipe. (Figure
12) The tee is then connected to the endcaps of the chambers adjacent to the tee. A connection
directly into the side of a chamber wall is not recommended.
