• Only use accessories recommended
by the supplier. The use of other
accessories may result in damage to
the appliance, thereby creating
hazards for the user.
Electricity and heat
• Before use, verify that the mains
voltage is the same as that indicated
on the type plate on the appliance.
• Plug the appliance into an earthed
wall socket.
• Always remove the plug from the
socket when the appliance is not in
use.
• Always remove the plug from the wall
socket by pulling on the plug, not the
power cord.
• Never pull on the power cable to move
the appliance or remove the plug from
the wall socket.
• Do not use the equipment if it is
damaged, or if the lead is damaged.
Send it to our Service Department in
order to avoid a hazard. With this type
of appliance, a damaged cord should
only be replaced by our Service
Department using special tools.
• Make sure that the appliance and the
power cord do not come in contact
with sources of heat, such as a hot
hob or naked flame.
• Make sure that the power cord and
plug do not come in contact with
water.
• The appliance needs space to allow
heat to escape, thereby preventing the
risk of fire. Make sure that the
appliance has sufficient space around
it, and does not come in contact with
flammable material. The appliance
must not be covered.
During use
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• Place the appliance on a stable and
flat surface where it cannot fall over.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge
of the draining board, worktop or
table.
• Make sure that your hands are dry
before touching the appliance, power
cord or plug.
• Never use the appliance in a humid
room.
• Switch off the appliance and remove
the plug from the wall socket in the
event of a malfunction during use, and
before cleaning the appliance, fitting
or removing an accessory, or storing
the appliance after use.
• Make sure that the appliance is out of
the reach of children.
• Never use the appliance with boiling
liquids.
• Do not switch on the appliance while it
is empty.
• Always use the pusher to feed
ingredients to the bowl. To avoid
injury or damage to the appliance,
never use your fingers, a fork or
another object to push the
ingredients.
• Be careful when attaching and
removing accessories. The knives and
graters/shredders are sharp. Only
hold them by the plastic ends.
• Do not turn on the appliance if the
appliance or the bowl are not securely
attached.
• Never use the appliance without the
lid or without the stopper being placed
in the filling opening.
• Turn off the appliance using the On/
Off button or by releasing the PULSE
button. Never turn off the appliance by
unscrewing the lid or the mixing bowl.
