Parental control is set and you need to input the password when watching program with TV as your signal source.

* AV

Parental control is set and you need to input the password when watching program from all other types of signal source
except TV.
8. Press OK to activate your selection. Once set, you will be prompted to enter the password for viewing programs set
under Child Lock preset limits.

Viewing Blocked Program

When activated, parental control will pop up a window requesting a password for programming set beyond the
blocked level. To view the program, enter the correct password.

5.5 Setting the Sleep/Wake-up Timer

You can set up a timer for the LCD TV to automatically turn on/off after a set period of time.

NOTE: If you have pressed the DISPLAY button to view status information within five minutes of
auto shutoff, a number will appear in the corner of the screen indicating the remaining time (in
minutes).

You can use the remote control or OSD to set up the timer:

Using the Remote Control (Sleep Timer only)

Press the SLEEP button on your remote control to toggle between OFF, 5 Min, 10 Min, 30 Min, 60 Min, 90 Min, or 120
Min timers.

NOTE: The setting using your remote control will override your setting on the OSD’s System
menu.

Using the OSD (Sleep/Wake-up Timer)

1. Press the MENU button to open the OSD main menu.
2. Press the P- button three times to select the clock icon. Press OK to open the System menu.
3. Press the P- button to select Time. Press OK to open the Time submenu.
4. Press the V+ button to confirm if the current time is set correctly.
5. Press the P- button to select On Timer, then use the V+ or V- button to set the time for your TV to wake-up automati-
cally.
6. Press the P- button to select Active, then use the V+ or V- button to activate the wake-up timer.
7. Press the P- button to select Off Timer, then use the V+ or V- button to set the time for your TV to sleep automatically.
8. Press the P- button to select Active, then use the V+ or V- button to activate the sleep timer.
