8. Making the grease gun ready for operation
CAUTION
Excess pressure can result in the bursting of the grease gun head and of
equipment

When using the grease gun, use suitable equipment such as protective
gloves and eye protection.

Remove the cap from the 500 g
cartridge.
Bleed the cartridge while pressing
lightly the follower of the cartridge
until grease emerges.

Screw the cartridge through the
centering ring into the head of
the open grease gun and fasten it
hand-tight.

Press on the follower piston and
start operating the grease gun
until grease escapes at the mouth-
piece. If required, repeat the proce-
dure several times.
Grease gun is now ready for ope-
ration.
