Read Operator’s Manual of the engine
Check engine compartment for fumes
Ensure that ventilation openings are clear to prevent overheating
Ensure flow of cooling water
When refuelling: No smoking & mop up any fuel spillage immediately
Take care not to damage fuel lines and check regularly that they are in good condition
Avoid placing flammable materials on or near hot parts

Install or replace electrical appliances or devices with components exceeding the rated current
amperage of the circuit
Leave the craft unattended with the electrical system energized, except automatic bilge-pump, fire
protection and alarm circuits
