Grounding Instructions
The equipment must be grounded. If the equipment
malfunctions or breaks down, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electric current, which
reduces the risk of electrical shock. The equipment is
equipped with a power cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug
must be inserted into an outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances. Failure to properly ground the
equipment could void the Precor Limited Warranty.
DANGER
Improper connection of the equipment-
grounding conductor can result in a risk of
electric shock. Check with a qualified
electrician or service person if you are in
doubt as to whether the unit is properly
grounded. Do not modify the plug
provided with the equipment. If it does not
fit the outlet, get a proper outlet installed
by a qualified electrician.
