Replace the lift cover that was removed in the first step.

To mount the center column support on the frame: 
Note:

 Check that the base fasteners are loose before 

installing the fasteners for the central column support.

Have your assistant support the center column support 

while you align the inside mounting brackets with the 

upright supports. 

2.

 

Fasten the center column support to each upright support 

by threading a buttonhead screw, a 

⁵₁₆

-inch washer, and a 

split washer through opposite mounting holes.
