17 Reference-Balance

A balance with RS232-interface may be used as a reference balance. Normally the reference-

balance will have a higher resolution than the counting-balance. The counting-balance takes

more precisely determined unit weights from the reference-balance.

If more than one reference-

balance is allocated to the input channels, an input channel (1….) must

be supplied after the < BASE > key.

17.1 Configuring the reference-balance

The interface parameters of the counting- and reference-balances must be the same.

The base unit of the reference balance must be in grams.
