Second, external equipment will provide a dry floating contact closure to 
two designated pins on the console connector. Closing the contacts begins 
powder feeding if POWDER FEED switch is in the ON position. Opening 
contacts will stop powder feeding. Contacts must be capable of switching 
110 VAC at 1 amp. 
 

4.6

 

Canister Clean Switch 

 

Place CLEAN switch in ON position to run the Model 1264 hopper motor 
and attached feed wheel at the top speed of 25 RPM. Use this switch to 
remove powder from canister and powder feed paths, and when changing 
from one powder to another (see Sections 4.10 and 4.11). Feed wheel runs 
continuously at 25 RPM until stopped by placing CLEAN switch in OFF 
position.

The Model 1264 may be automatically activated from other Praxair 
Surface Technologies (PST) thermal spray system equipment. Cables
