1. Connect the two rear satellite speakers to the “L” and “R” output
sockets marked “Rear” on the back of the subwoofer.
2. Connect the front satellites to the “R” and “L” output sockets marked
“Front” on the back of the subwoofer.
3. Connect the centre satellite to the “Centre” output socket.
4. Use the supplied cable A (see illustration 1) to connect your
sound source, e.g. sound card, CD player, etc. to the
“Stereo Input” socket on the back of the subwoofer.
5. Connect the subwoofer to the power supply.
6. Move the switch on the back of the subwoofer to “ON”.
LED
: The LED on the front of the subwoofer will flash blue several
times and then go out. The system is now ready to use.
7. Press the “On/Standby“ button on the remote control to switch the
system on.
LED
: The LED on the front of the subwoofer will light blue, indicating
that the device is on.
8. Press the “Input” button on the remote control to select the 2.1
sound source (the 5.1 sound source is active by default, see the
“Functions” section).
2. Connecting to a 5.1 sound source
Note
: You can simultaneously connect a 2.1 and a 5.1 sound source
to this system. You can then switch between the two sound sources by
means of the “Input” button on the remote control.
1. Connect the two rear satellite speakers to the “L” and “R” output
sockets marked “Rear” on the back of the subwoofer.
2. Connect the front satellites to the “R” and “L” output sockets marked
“Front” on the back of the subwoofer.
3. Connect the centre satellite to the “Centre” output socket.
4. Use the supplied cable A (see ill.1) to connect the system
to a sound source with 3.5 mm stereo socket inputs (e.g. 5.1 sound
cards). When doing this, connect the 3.5 mm stereo jacks to the
“5.1 Ch Input” sockets on the back of the subwoofer and your sound
source (often marked “Rear/Centre/Subwoofer/Front” on sound
cards).
5. Use the supplied cable B (see ill.1) to connect to a sound source
with cinch inputs (e.g. DVD player). When doing this, connect the
3.5 mm stereo jacks to the “5.1 Ch Input” sockets on the back of the
subwoofer and the cinch plugs to your sound source.
6. Connect the subwoofer to the power supply.
7. Move the switch on the back of the subwoofer to “ON”.
LED
: The LED on the front of the subwoofer will flash blue several
times and then go out. The system is now ready.
