11. 

Before  powering  the  appliance  make  sure  the  rating  (voltage  and  frequency) 
corresponding to the grid and the socket is suitable for the plug of the appliance, and 
that the wall socket is properly grounded. 

12. 

DO  NOT  power  the  appliance  using  multiple  sockets.  If  possible,  avoid  the  use  of 
adapters  and/or  extension  cables;  if  their  use  is  absolutely  necessary,  use  only 
materials  in  compliance  with  the  current  safety  regulations  and  according  to  the 
electrical parameters of the adapters.

The  appliance  must  NOT  be  switched  on  using  external  timers  and/or  other  remote 
control appliances which are not specified in this manual. 

14. 

Only use original components & accessories provided by the manufacturer. Any non-
original  components  &  accessories  NOT  recommended  by  the  manufacturer  may 
cause injuries to persons or damage to the appliance.  

15. 

If you are using the appliance for the first time, you should:  

a. 

Use the appliance only if the Air Inlet Filter, Air Outlet Filter & Dust Cup Filter are 
installed!  This  is  especially  so  if  the  surroundings  to  be  vacuumed  is  extremely 
dusty. Failure to do so will only send the dust back out after being suctioned.  DO 
NOT  use  other  filters  except  the  ones  attached  to  the  appliance  by  the 
manufacturer. 

b. 

Use the appliance only if the turbine (motor) is in a good working condition before 
turning on this appliance. Failure to do this could cause a risk of injury to persons 
and would defeat the utility of the appliance.  

c. 

Be extra careful when vacuum cleaning on stairs as the machine might topple. 

d. 

Switch off the appliance and unplug the socket from the electric mains when not in 
use and before filling, emptying and cleaning the appliance 

e. 

Should  there  be  a  need  to  stop  the  appliance  from  operating,  simply  press  the 
ON/OFF Button, switch off the electric mains and unplug the power cable.  

Make  sure  to  remove  any  label  or  protective  sheet  which  may  prevent  its  proper 
functioning. 

DO NOT:  

 

cover the appliance during functioning; 

 

obstruct totally nor partially the air outlet with anything that may reduce the suction, 
such as dust, lint, hair, etc.; 

 

insert objects or body parts inside the protection cover of the appliance; 

 

use  the  appliance  for  more  than  20

 

minutes  without  turning  it  off  for  at  least  10

 

minutes for  a  total usage  of  2

 

hours  in  a  single  day  –  failure  to  heed this  warning 

may result in motor failure; 

 

leave the appliance unsupervised during operation. 

14. 

Plug and unplug the power cable with dry hands and hold it firmly. Always unplug the 
power cable to avoid overheating and avoid stretching it. DO NOT pull it, tug it or use it 
to drag the appliance to which  is connected. Before  unplugging the appliance, press
