This chapter shows you how to calculate the bus clock speed, clock multiplier, and
CPU speed for a variety of CPUs. It also lists the available core voltage settings for
the PL-K6-III.
Calculating Clock Speeds
You can achieve the best performance for your CPU by changing the
motherboard’s bus clock (for instructions, refer to your documentation that came
with your motherboard) according to the tables below. You can also use the
formula below to calculate the PL-K6-III adapter’s clock multiplier.
