The battery charger BLAK HAWK recharge the battery with a I U Ia charging curve.
The cycle of charging start automatically with the step N°1 (Constant current) with the maximum ampere until
the volt par cell is 2,4 V/cell (gassing voltage), the battery is charge at 70%.
At this point start the step N°2 (Constant Voltage) the tension is kept constant ,controlling however the max
current set-up, to avoid possible anomalous absorption’s.
In this phase the current is decreased, up-to the Imin value, set-up by SET.
Now start the step N°3 (Constant current Ia),in this phase the current and the tension are controlled: the
maximum current is equal to Imin, and the tension rises until the absorbed current falls.
Achieved and maintained for 2 seconds the tension of Vend ,the battery terminals, the charge cycle
TERMINATES, emitting a BEEP of 1 second, returning to the initial settings, set-up by SET
The display card
is provided of a monochromatic graphic display LCD 4 x 20.
ATTENTION, PLEASE:
BEFORE DISCONNECTING THE CONNECTOR BETWEEN THE BATTERY AND THE
CHARGER, PLEASE, MAKE SURE THE CHARGE CYCLE HAS FINISHED,
OTHERWISE BEFORE DISCONNECTING YOU MUST STOP THE CHARGE
MANUALLY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SECURITY STANDARDS.
THIS OPERATION GUARANTEES MORE RELIABILITY OF THE INNER ELECTRONIC
COMPONENTS OF THE EQUIPEMENT.

5. WARRANTY
The duration of the battery charger warranty is 12 (twelve) months from its start-up.
The warranty covers all proven defects in components, assembly and construction.
Any incorrect installation or use of the charger NULLIFIES the warranty.
The warranty is void due to improper use, incorrect installation or tampering
The warranty is void if interventions on the equipment are performed by persons not qualified
by Powergen S.r.l.
The warranty is NULLIFIES if the 3 thermocouple transformer switch will be
by-pass
