4.

Keep all connections dry and off the ground to reduce the risk of electric
shock. Do not touch the plug or wiring with wet hands.

5.

Prevent damage to the power cord by observing the following:
a.

Do not pull on the cord to disconnect the plug from an outlet.

b.

Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.

6.

Position the cord so it is not stepped on, tripped over or otherwise
subjected to damage or stress.

7.

Do not wrap the cord around the tool, as sharp edges may cut insulation
or cause cracks if wound too tight. Gently coil cord and either hang on a
hook or fasten with a device to keep cord together during storage.

8.

Do not run the cord under carpeting or cover with throw rugs, runners
or similar coverings. Covering that cord may result in the tool overheating
and starting a fire.

OPERATIONS

Before using the charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on the
charger, battery pack and the product using the battery pack.
1.

Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area and never obstruct the vents
in the top and bottom of the charger. Place the charger on a flat non-
flammable surface and away from flammable materials when re-charging
the battery.

The temperature must be between 40° to 105° F (4° to 40°C) while
charging.

2.

Allow a hot battery to cool before attempting to recharge it.

3.

Plug the battery charger into a 120V power source.

4.

Align the battery's base with the charger port and push the battery into
the charger until the latch clicks.

5.

The battery will begin charging.

6.

Remove the battery by pushing the battery lock button and pulling the
battery free.

7.

Allow the battery to cool before installing it in a tool.
