Note that the inner � ange (e) and outer
� ange (d) must be turned in a speci� c way,
according to the type of disc:
Grinding disc with recessed central hole
Cutting disc with recessed central hole
Flat cutting disc
Release the spindle lock.
Use
Hold the handle (4) and turn the angle
grinder on by pressing the on/off button (3)
down and then forward.
Hold the angle grinder by the handle and
side handle with both hands when you are
working with it.
Avoid blocking the ventilation slots (6) with
your hand, as this may cause the grinder to
overheat.
Allow the cutting or grinding disc to achieve
full speed and let it run unloaded for 30
seconds to check that it is working correctly
and that there are no abnormal vibrations.
Stop the grinder immediately if heavy
vibration occurs, and investigate the cause.
Place the cutting or grinding disc against
the workpiece.
When working horizontally, maximum
eff ect is achieved when the cutting or
grinding disc is held at an angle of 15-30° to
the workpiece.
