7—Battery Information
7.1—No Battery Maintenance
No maintenance is necessary to operate the batteries. To get batteries serviced, call Power Innovations:

ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
This system contains batteries with a high short-circuit current. Even when disconnected from
outlet power, UPS components are still connected to batteries. Incorrect battery handling may
cause accident electric shock, injury, or death.
Do not open or destroy batteries. When open to air, batteries may emit chemicals that could
harm skin or eyes.
7.2—Storage Concerns
If the UPS will be stored for long periods of time, the battery must be charged once for every 90 days of storage.
