)To install the battery insert the
charged battery (

2. To remove the battery (

and pull straight down, away from the tool handle.
Caution:
Use only Power Glide supplied battery
and charger with this tool. Do not use other
manufacturers batteries or chargers.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS AND CONTENTS
BATTERY PACK INSTALLATION & REMOVAL
BATTERY CHARGING

) Insert the chargers power cord (

)
into a standard 110/120v ~ 60Hz power outlet.
2. Carefully insert the battery pack (
2
) into the charging
base. (

) The battery pack fill fit properly in only one
direction, take care not to force the battery pack in
the wrong direction. The green light over the word
"off" (
5
) will come on. If it does not, check the power
supply to the charger.
3. To begin charging, press the "Set" button (

) on the
charger base. The red light over the word "On" (
5
)
will come on indicating charging in process.
4. When the red light goes off, the battery has been recharged. For normal charging this
process takes 1-1.5 hours. Unplug the charger and remove the battery from the charger
base.
Caution:
The battery packet must be charged before you first use your machine. The
battery packet only reaches its full capacity after several charges. Avoid repeated
consecutive rapid charges of the battery. Do not recharge after using only briefly.
(15 min. or less) The battery packet and the power supply unit warm up during the
charge process. This is not a malfunction.

INSERTING DRILL BITS AND SCREWDRIVER BITS

1. In order to insert a drill bit/screwdriver bit, grasp
the back section of the chuck (2) and rotate the
front section of the chuck (1) to open or close
the chuck.
2. Insert the tool as far as it will go into the drill
chuck opening.
3. Firmly tighten the chuck by hand. Check whether
the tool is firmly seated in the drill chuck

VARIABLE SPEED ON AND OFF SWITCH
Set rotation direction switch (1) to desired position.
To switch on: Press ON/OFF switch. (2) Rotation
speed will increase as the trigger is pressed.
To switch off: Release ON/OFF switch. (2)
Varying the Speed
Simply apply pressure onto the On-Off/Switch (2)
by squeezing it in, this will increase the speed and
release the pressure on the On-Off/Switch (2) will
decrease the speed.
Forward & Reversing Switch
Set rotation direction switch (1) either to the right for
counter clockwise rotation or to the left for clockwise rotation, When ON/OFF switch (2) is
activated, rotation direction switch (1) is locked.
Drilling with the lowest rotation speed for a extended period of time, increases the danger
of the overheating of the motor. Allow cooling time of approx. 15 Minutes.
