ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
1. Lay the rack (Fig. 1-2) flat with the
width adjusting slots face up.
2. Insert the side bracket (Fig. 1-1 and
1-4) into the rack. The bolt holes
must be visible through the width
adjustment slots. See Fig. 1 for
orientation.
3. Slide an M12 lock washer (#7) over
each of the four M12x30 flat hex bolts (#6). Screw two bolts into each
side bracket (Fig. 1-3). Do not fully tighten to
allow the braces to slide.
4. Place the rack onto the truck with the assistance
of another person. Have that person hold the rack
in place during installation.
5. Align the left and right side bracket bolt holes with
the truck rail pocket holes (Fig. 2).
6. Prepare 4 bolts by sliding an M12 lock washer
(#7) and an M12 flat washer (#8) over an M12x75
flat head hex bolt (#9).
7. Drop a prepared bolt into the front slot of the side
bracket (Fig. 2). Drop a second prepared bolt into the
rear hole (Fig.3-1).
8. Screw a U-clamp (#4) onto the front bolt. Make sure
the clamps flanges are facing up (Fig. 2).
9. Reach under the truck bed’s rim and turn the U-
clamp 90°. Hold the clamp in this position while you
tighten the bolt.
10. Position the flat bracket (#5) over the protruding rear
bolt beneath the rim. Hold the bracket in place while
screwing the bolt into it. Tighten with a wrench.
