12. Replace the protective cylinder cap. Tighten
the nut (#36) and bolt (#40). Reinstall the
pump handle. Reinsert the hose over the
spray tank’s barb and firmly secure the hose
clamp in place (Fig. 11).
CLEANING
Do not use strong cleaning agents. You may use clean water or soap water.
1. Rinse the tool’s outside at a permitted place when spraying is completed.
Clean the inside by applying continual pressure and spraying with water till
the discharged solution becomes clear.
2. Clean the wand and nozzle with water and a mild soap using a soft brush.
a. Do not dislodge foreign objects from the nozzle with a hard object as
it can damage the tool.
b. Disconnect the control switch assembly (9#) from the hose (#12) to
access the filter (#9-11). Clean the filter and reassemble.
LUBRICATION
Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. Apply grease to moving parts after
the sprayer has been cleaned. Occasionally oil the o-rings and nozzles.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
Contact your local municipality for a list of disposal facilities or by-laws for
electronic devices, batteries, oil or other toxic liquids.
