ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
The trailer jack requires no assembly, but care must be taken to properly mount
the trailer jack to the trailer. The heights listed are measured from ground to
center of the mounting point.
1. Determine the location where to mount the swivel trailer jack. The jack
swivels 180º and can be mounted on either side.
2. Chock the trailer wheels so trailer cannot move forwards or backwards.
3. Support the trailer tongue so it is level with the ground.
4. Position the trailer jack’s swivel plate (#14) against the trailer tongue. Push
bolts through the top and bottom bolt holes on the right side.
5. Slide a mounting plate over both bolt ends on the right side. The flat side is
against the trailer tongue. Loosely secure each bolt with a nut.
6. Repeat with a mounting plate on the left side.
7. Adjust the jack’s position if necessary. The swivel plate should be square with
the trailer tongue. Ensure there is enough to room to turn the handle (#12).
8. Tighten each nut evenly to secure the trailer jack in place.
9. Test the jack to ensure the inner tube (#5) extends and retracts smoothly,
then that it swivels and locks into the horizontal position.
OPERATION
1. Pull the pull clamp (#20) to unlock the wheel from the horizontal position.
2. Twist the swivel trailer jack until it is vertical.
3. Release the pull clamp. Move the jack back and forth until the clamp clicks
into place. This will lock the swivel trailer jack into position.
4. Turn the handle (#12) clockwise to extend the inner tube (#5) until the
wheel rests on the ground.
5. Turn the handle counterclockwise to retract the inner tube.
