LUBRICATION
Inspect and lubricate the tool when required. The
tool is pre-lubricated.
Change the lubricant after 60 hours of operation or
when the brake is less efficient.
1. Open the oil cover (Fig. 4-1) with the hex wrench.
2. Clean spent lubricant from chamber with a towel.
3. Regrease the tool with 30 g of Gadus S3 220C
2 Grease (SKU 8540627).
REPLACE CARBON BRUSH
1. Disconnect the tool from power source.
2. Remove the cover screw (Fig. 5-2) and cover (Fig. 5-1).
3. Take the old brush out and install a new brush. Make sure the brush slides
freely within the brush housing.
4. Replace the carbon brush cover and housing
cover.
5. Run the motor for 15 minutes without load
to shape the brush, so it is properly aligned
with the commutator.
STORAGE
When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin coat of lubricant to the
steel parts to avoid rust. Remove the lubricant before using the tool again.
DISPOSAL
Recycle a tool damaged beyond repair at the appropriate facility.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Contact Princess Auto Ltd. for a solution if the tool does not function properly
or parts are missing. If unable to do so, have a qualified technician service
the tool.
