Digital Laser Tachometer Combo Set
CONTACT ROTATIONAL SPEED MEASUREMENT
1.
Slide the function switch to the RPM CONTACT position and
install the proper adapter (H).
2.
Gently press the contact adapter to the centerpoint of the
rotating shaft.
3.
Press the measure button until the reading stabilizes. Release the
measuring button.
4. Break contact with the rotating shaft. The reading is complete.
CONTACT LINEAR SPEED MEASUREMENT
1.
Slide the function switch to m/min. and install the linear
speed adapter.
2.
Press the linear speed adapter against the moving surface.
3.
Press the measuring button until the reading stabilizes. Release
the measuring button.
4.
Remove the linear speed adapter from the moving surface. The
reading is complete.
IMPORTANT! Measurements should be taken on the outer surface of a
cylinder when possible. The gauge difference between the outer and
inner surface may affect the reading. To obtain a slightly more accurate
reading of an inner surface, multiply the measurement result by 0.9 to
get an approximate RPM.
