INSTRUCTION MANUAL
rewind the cable completely before switching off
or leaving the hoist.
Mounting
The hoist must be mounted
on a pipe or the like able to
bear its weight plus the
maximum load (218 kg
total).
It can be mounted on the
underside or side of the pipe
depending on whether it is to
be used for lifting or
winching. Never use a hoist mounted for lifting as
a winch, or vice-versa!
Mount the hoist using the mounting brackets (6)
and bolts, nuts and washers (7) supplied.
Insert plug in mains socket.
Use
The hoist can lift/winch loads using single or
double cable. Lifting capacity is doubled using
double cable.
When stopping the hoist during lowering, the item
can drop a couple of centimetres more due to
inertia. This is normal.
The stop block above the hook (5) will prevent the
hook being wound into the drum (3) and getting
stuck.
Winching/lifting with single cable.
Roll as much cable off the drum to allow the hook
to reach the item using the hoist/lower button on
the remote control (1).
Attach hook securely to the item.
Rewind the cable using the hoist/lower button
until the item is at the desired height/position.
When the hoist/lower button is released, the hoist
will stop immediately.
Winching/lifting with double cable.
Roll approx. a meter of cable off the drum and fit
the pulley (4) onto the cable. Secure the hook
onto the hoist housing.
Roll as much cable off the drum to allow the hook
to reach the item using the hoist/lower button on
the remote control.
Lift the item as described above.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe off with a damp cloth. Lubricate moving
parts with oil.
Check regularly that the cable is in good
condition.
Check regularly that all bolts, brackets and nuts
are tight.
