USE
•
Cut all thick branches first with shears before
using the clipper.
•
Hold the hand grip (5), press the safety switch
(4) and use the other hand to hold the handle.
Press the on/off button (7). The clipper will
start. If the safety switch or on/off switch are
released, the clipper will stop.
•
Move the clipper from side to side with even
movements to clip the hedge. Always start
from the bottom and side, and repeat the
movement over the same area if the leaves are
very thick.
•
Be very careful when clipping near walls, thick
branches, wire fencing or other obstructions.
If the blade comes in contact with an
obstruction, it can jam or kick back. Stop the
clipper immediately if the blade jams. The
blade can be damaged if it comes into contact
with metal, stone or other solid objects.
•
Sparks can occur in the motor compartment
during use. This is normal and does not mean
there is a defect.
Cleaning and maintenance
•
Always remove leaves, dirt etc from the clipper.
•
Wipe all parts of the clipper with a damp
cloth. Lubricate the moving parts with
lubricant.
•
Keep in a dry place when not in use.
•
Always replace the protective sleeve (2) on the
blade (1) when transporting or storing.
