the table. Take car to first lay a towel on the table so that neither the table or the fixture are
scratched in the process. Then attach the mounting plate to the fixture using the four fasteners
provided with the floor stand. Afterwards, it should be possible to move the assembled fixture
and floor stand to the desired location on the floor.
Connecting the power supply
The power supply is connected to the appliance by plugging the jack from the power supply into
the receptacle on the cord from the fixture.
It is important to use the power supply which comes with the Ambiance Mood Panel.
Using a different power supply may damage the appliance and void the warranty.
It is also important that the power supply can be unplugged, or that it is fed through some type of
switch, so that power to the appliance can be turned off. It may be necessary to briefly turn off
the power to the appliance in order to reset its internal computer.
It is not acceptable to add additional length of wire after the power supply. This will cause a loss
of voltage at the fixture, and interfere with its proper operation. If longer wires are needed, please
contact PowellColorBox.com to obtain advice on how this can be done.
Using the remote control
The Ambiance Mood Panel comes with a remote control which works using a radio signal much
like what is used by garage door openers. The signal will control any Ambiance Mood Panel
within proximity, so it allows several of the fixtures to be controlled at once. The signal may even
reach fixtures located in an adjacent room, but the reliability of the signal generally decreases
with distance.
The layout of the remote control device is shown below.
