15. Fit pedals using special spanner (fig 27). Check which one is the right and the left
pedal before to fit them: indication engraved on end of pedals.
Note: thread of left pedal is reversed (left pitch).
16. Attach chain guard to lugs – screws supplied on frame – locate front screw first and
check chain can run free without rubbing. Adjust if necessary.
17. Adjust the angle position of the seat and then fit seat post to seat and locate into frame
(14mm).
18. Attach front brake cable to lever. Adjust brake blocks (8mm bolts) to contact rim only
(not tyre) (fig 28) and pass cable through ‘L’ shaped cable guide inserted into bracket,
fit rubber gaiter and secure wire through cable clamp (10mm) (fig 29). Finish cable
ends with clamped on aluminium caps.
