3. ADD GASOLINE
Fill fuel tank to bottom of tank fi ller neck. DO NOT overfi ll.
Use fresh, clean,regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum of 87
octane. DO NOT mix oil with gasoline. Purchase fuel in quantities
that can be used within 30 days to assure fuel freshness.
4. TO START THE ENGINE
• Hold the Operator Presence Control Bar down
to the upper handle.
• Pull the Recoil starter handle (at the end of
the starter rope) quickly.
• The mower it’s ready for cutting
• To stop the engine, release the Operator presence control bar.
• Loosen knob on upper handle.
•
Slowly pull engine Recoil starter handle.
• Slip starter rope into loop on upper
handle.
• Tighten Knob.

included in the package.

2. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL
• Be sure lawnmower is level.
• Remove oil dipstick from oil fi ll spout.
• Pour oil slowly. DO NOT overfi ll.
• Insert and tighten dipstick, then remove it to check oil level.
IMPORTANT: Check oil level before each use. Add oil if needed.
Fill to “Full” line on dipstick.
