P.t.o. speed
• Max. p.t.o. speed = 540 U/min.
The most suitable shaft speed is about 450 r.p.m.
- If the feed is pulled by the tines from the swath back to
the stripe (unclean raking), the pto shaft speed must
be reduced.
- The cam track for the control of the tine arms can be
adjusted (optimized tine control).
- The tractor's lower linkages (U) must be locked laterally
free of play, to prevent the tedder swinging back and forth.
Turning manoeuvre in the working
position
The rotors can be raised by actuating the single- acting
control valve (ST) (pos. H1). The drive must not be
switched off for this.

Settings on rotor chassis
A level and firm surface is a prerequisite for proper adjust-
ment of the rotary chassis. The machine is attached to the
tractor and in working position.
1. Setting the transverse inclination
To guarantee clean raking, the rotor chassis
should be tilted slightly toward the swath. The
opposite side to the swath should be approx.
10-15 mm higher.
1. Lower the rotor unit using the crank (8) until the inner
tines lightly touch the ground.
2. Setting the height of the outer tines using eccentric bolt
on the tandem axle (2) - approx. 1.0 - 1.5 cm above
ground.
a. Loosen nuts (3) slightly using open-end spanner
size 36.
b. Set the required inclination using the eccentric bolt
(2) and a size 36 open-end spanner.
c. Re-tighten the nuts (3). (Tightening torque 280 Nm)
