The applications of the Standalone Telephone Unit include the following:
• Loop start plain old telephone service (POTS)
• Dial-up “smart” modems (up to 19200 baud)
• Fax lines (up to19200 baud)
• Loop start PBX
• Dial-up remote meter reading
