If the parameters aren’t set correctly, E320 won’t work properly and even it
can be damaged.
Output picture format of intelligent KVM switch E320 is 1280 x 1024
pixels, color quality 32 bits and output frequency is 60 Hz. These
parameters are fixed.
The background color is given too. No pictures can be placed on the
desktop. It has to be monochromatic (background color).
Factory color setting is
{0,0,1} (R,G,B). Basically
each of the computer systems
can have its own background
color. It can be done either by
manufacturer or authorized
partner.
In
case
of
incorrect
background color setting or other than 32 bits color quality the pictures
from both computers will not be processed properly.
Intelligentn KVM switch E320 can be controlled in two ways.
4.0 Application
In usual mode of operation on a mouse click the switch E320 analyses a
color of the pixel actually addressed by cursor. If the pixel color equals to
a background color, no action will be done. In other case E320 can identify
to which system belongs to the pixel. Keyboard and mouse are immediately
switched to this system. Windows and icons of the selected system are
displayed in foreground, the windows and icons of the second system are
displayed in background. Two color LED on a front panel shows what
system has beenis actually selected – red color indicates system No.1, green
color No.2.
An operator works with two computer systems as the same way as with
one computer under Windows.
There is another way how to control the systems switching – keyboard
abbreviations. Each action must be started with double press {ScrollLock}
key and then must be pressed a number on the number part of the keyboard.
Background color
