Change/Refill of engine oil

The motor oil must be replaced quarterly. Depending on frequency of use and contamination of the motor oil, replacement may be
necessary at shorter intervals.

1.

Place a drip tray under the drain plug. The tray must hold at least 2 liters / 0.5 US gal to collect all the motor oil.

2.

Unscrew the drain plug and let the motor oil drain off.

3.

Screw the drain plug back in.

4.

Place the tray under the filter and remove the oil filter.

5.

Mount a new oil filter. Grease the sealing of the new oil filter beforehand with a little motor oil. Turn the screw another half-
turn after the sealing has contact with the hydraulic unit.

6.

Fill with fresh motor oil. Use a funnel to prevent contamination of the surrounding area.

Add enough motor oil so that the filling level is between the "full" and "empty” mark on the dip stick.
