3. Adapting the Car Child Seats
The Porsche Junior Plus Seat ISOFIT and the
Porsche Junior Plus Seat consist of a seat cushion
(1) and a backrest (2) with adjustable headrest
(3) . This combination provides the desired protec-
tion and comfort for your child.
The backrest (2) is connected with the seat
cushion by a hinge axle (4) . The backrest (2)
steplessly adapts itself to the inclination of the
vehicle seat. Outside the car, the backrest
(2) is
kept in vertical position by a small catch.
For safety when handling the car child
seat

The car child seat must never be used when it
is standing freely – not even for test-sitting.
Caution! The backrest
(2) can tilt to the rear.
Always place the car child seat on the vehicle
seat before your child sits in it.

Danger! When the backrest (2) is swivelled
up, nothing must be between the backrest (2)
and seat cushion (1) in the area of the hinge
axle (4) .
Caution! Your or your child’s fingers could be
pinched and injured, for example.
3.1 Headrest Height Adjustment
A correctly adapted headrest (3) ensures that the
diagonal belt (6) can be positioned properly and
provides the desired protection and comfort for
your child. You can engage the height of the
headrest
(3) in eleven positions.
The headrest (3) must be adjusted so that there is
a space corresponding to the width of two fingers
(A) between your child’s shoulders and the
headrest.
