Side window vents
The air outlets in the armrests permit adjust
ment of air flow either sideways or up and
down. Open and close vents with small side
lever:
A - vents closed
Β - vents open
Center air vents
The center air vents direct air flow to the
passenger compartment and are adjustable
either sideways or up and down. Open and
close vents with small side lever.
When the temperature control lever is in the
defrost position, move side lever down to
close the vents. On vehicles equipped with
an automatic climate control system, the
vents will close automatically.

- air nozzles for footwells open, and
side window and center air vents
open when side levers are moved to
their open positions.

defrost position
air nozzles for foot wells closed.
Fan automatically switches to high
est speed, and the air conditioner
compressor is switched on automa
tically to dehumidify the air. For fast
defogging/defrosting move
upper
lever
to extreme right and close
center air vents.
Fan speed control - rotary switch knob
The
air volume
is controlled by a 4-speed
fan. When the ignition is turned on, the fan
automatically operates at low speed, even
with switch in the OFF position. By turning
the knob clockwise, fan speed 1-4 can be
selected to increase the air volume.
A/C - Depress switch to turn airconditioner
on or off (arrow). The air conditioner
is operational regardless of upper
and lower slide lever settings, except
with lower lever in the OFF position.
For maximum cooling move upper
lever to extreme left.

Temperature control - upper lever
lever to left - cold
lever to right - increased heating
Maximum heating output is achieved when
the engine has reached normal operating
temperature.
