Locate the AUX IN port on the back of the Sidecar. Connect one end of the auxiliary cable to this port.
Note:
Do not plug a telephone line cord into the AUX port. Use only the auxiliary cable provided with the Sidecar.
Locate the AUX port on the back of the Telephone. Connect the other end of the auxiliary cable to this port. The
Sidecar is powered by the auxiliary cable with the Telephone and no additional power source is required.
Route the auxiliary cable into the cable slot of the Sidecar
To attach a second Sidecar (optional
– a maximum of two Sidecars can be connected to a Cisco Telephone): Insert the
attachment arm into the peg holes of the first and second Sidecar and use the attachment arm screws to secure it in
place. Plug the auxiliary cable into the AUX OUT port of the first Sidecar and the AUX IN port of the second Sidecar.
Route the auxiliary cable into the cable slot.
