Stopping the Engine
1.
Cool the engine by allowing it to run at idle
for 2-3 minutes.
2.
Stop the engine by firmly pressing the OFF
switch.
IMPORTANT:
A clean and unrestricted airflow
is essential to your machine’s engine
performance and durability. Before attempting
any carburettor adjustments, inspect and clean
the engine air filter as described on page 17 of
this manual.
General Operating Instructions
Throttle Settings
Machine noise increases at higher throttle
settings. In most instances, operate your
machine at the lowest throttle setting
necessary to complete the task.
1.
Use low throttle settings when clearing
lightweight materials from around lawns or
shrubbery.
2.
Use medium to higher throttle settings to
move lightweight grass or leaves from hard
surfaces, such as concrete.
3.
Use full throttle when moving heavy loads
such as dirt.
If the engine continues to run when
the OFF switch has been depressed,
stop the engine by pulling the choke
control out to the fully closed position.
