INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
•
Switch off the filtration system.
•
Dismantle the cell's collars in order to
measure the sleeve (length x, Fig. 06).
•
Mark the location of the cell on the pipe (Fig.
07).
It must be placed after any other
treatment, cleaning or heating device (just
before discharge).
•
Cut the pipe so as to obtain a dimension
equal to the size of the sleeve + 10 mm
(Fig. 08).
•
If the pipe diameter is 63, put the nut on the
pipe and then glue the collar on the pipe.
Repeat for each side of the cut ensuring
that the remaining opening is the size of
the cell's sleeve. If the pipe diameter is 50,
first glue a 63/50 reducer in the collar
before gluing the collar onto the pipe (Fig.
09).
•
Fit the gaskets on the collar with a little
silicone grease (Fig. 10).
•
Position the sleeve of the electrolytic cell
and tighten the nuts by hand (Fig. 11).
Wait for all the glue to be completely dry
before placing the pipes back under
pressure.
Connect the cable connecting the electronics
box to the cell:
•
Position the 2 solderless terminals (brown
and blue) on either of the cell's terminals
(Fig. 12).
•
Put on the washers and then tighten the
nuts with a No. 10 spanner until snug. Do
not force
•
Put on the protective caps (Fig. 13).
A poorly connected cell (poorly tightened
terminals, for example) will cause damage up to
destruction. The warranty will not apply in this
case.
