Installing the RealPresence Collaboration Server
(RMX) 1800
The Polycom RealPresence Collaboration Server 1800/2000/4000 Appliance Edition can be installed in a
rack.
For the RealPresence Collaboration Server 1800 system, you also need a shelf to mount it in a rack. This
system can also be placed directly on a level surface.
Mount the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 1800 in a Rack
You need a shelf to mount the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 1800 in a rack.
Procedure
To mount the system in a rack:
1.
Install the shelf, supplied by the rack manufacturer, in the rack.
2.
Mount the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 1800 on the shelf.
3.
Fasten the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 1800 to the rack with screws through the
four holes in front mounting brackets of the RealPresence Collaboration Server (RMX) 1800.
